White butterfly May 2016. This insect having white wings patterned in white with darker stripes was found on a leaf outside city Enkoping, Enkoeping Sweden. One of the wings is hit by sun and the light is shining through the wing mignifying the pattern in the wing. The leaves and greenary has newly grown and is fresh in colour. This image was captured on May 24, "016 Using a Canon 5DSr.

About Leif Sohlman
Biography Leif Sohlman was born in Enkoeping (Enkoping) Sweden. He lived in the city until an age of 4 years when he moved to city Stockholm, capital city of Sweden, where he went to school and graduated as engineer in telecommunication techniques. Thereafter he was employed in Swedish telecom until retirement dealing with technical issues. After retirement he moved back to city Enkoeping. After his mother's death he began to photograph and also enhance photos with some artistic attempts. Now he is trying to learn to make digital paintings as a complement to photgraphy.
