golden spotted butterfly, Butterfly with golden to orange coloured patterns on the open wings.The light make the wings transparent when it is sitting on top of a thistle plant. The flower of the plant is begining to close to prepare the seeds for their future flight. This photography was captured with a Canon 5D mk III on August 16, 2015 near city Enkoeping (Enköping, Enkoping) Sweden.

Biography Leif Sohlman was born in Enkoeping (Enkoping) Sweden. He lived in the city until an age of 4 years when he moved to city Stockholm, capital city of Sweden, where he went to school and graduated as engineer in telecommunication techniques. Thereafter he was employed in Swedish telecom until retirement dealing with technical issues. After retirement he moved back to city Enkoeping. After his mother's death he began to photograph and also enhance photos with some artistic attempts. Now he is trying to learn to make digital paintings as a complement to photgraphy. He is a photographer/digital artist mainly working with nature and landscapes as flowers and macro photography and digital art as digital painting, photo painting and...
