Tawny owl, I believe. My first capture of an owl, and I hope there will be more. It is sitting on a sign on the opposite side of the creek of city Enkoeping, Enkoping. It reminds me that I once had one in my home when I lived on an other place. It came in through the chimney into one of my rooms. At first it was in the chimney and I wondered how to get it out, however, I took all things out of the room and opened up so it could come out in the room. The following morning I looked into the room and there it was, Now how to get it out from the house? I decide to open the windows and thought it should be affected by the electrical light if I lit it on. Well I did it and rushed in and opened the windows. Then I was away for some moments before I checked the room, it it had flown out and I was very happy. This image was captured on March 18, 2018, using a Canon 5DSR.

Biography Leif Sohlman was born in Enkoeping (Enkoping) Sweden. He lived in the city until an age of 4 years when he moved to city Stockholm, capital city of Sweden, where he went to school and graduated as engineer in telecommunication techniques. Thereafter he was employed in Swedish telecom until retirement dealing with technical issues. After retirement he moved back to city Enkoeping. After his mother's death he began to photograph and also enhance photos with some artistic attempts. Now he is trying to learn to make digital paintings as a complement to photgraphy.
