Portal May 2016. A tree in the water os creek of city Enkoping (Enkoeping) Sweden. The branch is reflected in the water giving an illusion of a portal, through which a female mandarin duck is attempting swim. The other side of the river is reflected and gives the water a green colour. I suppose it is an adult female mandarin duck,, but it might also be a young duck of this year. The image was captured on May 20, 2016, using a Canon 5DSr.

Biography Leif Sohlman was born in Enkoeping (Enkoping) Sweden. He lived in the city until an age of 4 years when he moved to city Stockholm, capital city of Sweden, where he went to school and graduated as engineer in telecommunication techniques. Thereafter he was employed in Swedish telecom until retirement dealing with technical issues. After retirement he moved back to city Enkoeping. After his mother's death he began to photograph and also enhance photos with some artistic attempts. Now he is trying to learn to make digital paintings as a complement to photgraphy.
