Description

Hoverfly in bindweed. A white bindweed flower inviting a hoverfly insect for dinner. The petals of the flower are hit by the shining sun giving light at dark parts on the flower. The insect, a hover fly, is creeping into the yellow center of the flower to eat of the nectar. the sunlight at the flower make seem as the insect is going into the light. This image was captured on August 11, 2016, using a Canon 5Dsr.
